M. MosselMeijer Mossel (1910-1978) was chazzan in Amsterdam (Gerard Doustraat
synagogue) before and shortly after the war and from 1949 in The Hague. After
his retirement in 1975he continued to serve when requested. There are four streams plus a recording of the 7 ברכות at a wedding. For now, the indexing is at a high level, more detailed indexing will follow later. This indexing is taken from a list made by his son Jehoeda. From another source (D. Springer) I got three streams from the chupa of his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Springer-Keizer on 7 December 1958/25 Kislev 5715 in the Wagenstraat synagogue in the Hague, which I add to this page, next to the 7 ברכות. Unfortunately, Mossel didn't use the Ashekanzi pronunciation in all recordings (*). Video recording lighting the Chanuika in front of the Russian Embassy in the Hague, mid 1970's. Melody is from the Hague.
(*) reason for this is given by his son Jehoeda in Dutch "Mijn vader "zong mij in" in Ivriet uitspraak, omdat ik ook zo dienst heb gedaan in Utrecht. The mp3 filenames contain the pages in the Dasberg machzor. The voice in teh abck ik from van Leeuwen.
