H. Duizend

Mr. Harry Duizend (1910-1983) made these recordings in 1975. He lived in
Amsterdam and visited the Linnaeusstraat synagogue in Amsterdam Oost, where he
was chazzan from time to time. For the Yamim Noraim he would go to Dordrecht (to
the south of Rotterdam) to be chazzan and baa'l tokea. His nusach is
"Amsterdam". More on Mr. Duizend in

The voice in the back is from his son Herman (1949), who took over the davvening in
Dordrecht and later also in Deventer and Zuthpen (both in the east of Holland).
